ScaR is designed, developed and evaluated as a joint effort of members from the Social Computing research area and the software services team of the Know-Center. This allows us to combine newest research insights with software development skills and therefore, ScaR should be of interest for both academics and practitioners in the field of recommender systems.

Simone Kopeinik

Deputy Research Area Manager

Simone Kopeinik is deputy research area manager of the FAIR-AI research area of the Know-Center. In her PhD, she specialized in using cognitive models for recommender systems in sparse data learning environments. Simone is working on recommender systems and is interested in broader aspects of AI and computational social systems, especially with regard to the responsible and safe use of technology.
