ScaR is a novel recommender framework following the Software-as-a-Service paradigm. It addresses important aspects like: immediately processing and considering streaming data for the recommendation process, scaling the recommender system to be suitable for cloud based environments, and combining real-time recommender approaches with context dependent data.
